We had heard about Jim Kenny through occasional newsletters sent to us via Canada Post and decided to try him out. It was one of the best decisions we ever made. Jim offered to meet us right away, and we felt a strong rapport from the get-go -- he demonstrated a strong knowledge of our area and the market.. We very soon thereafter signed him up as our agent, and he initially gave very helpful suggestions on what we needed to do to stage the unit for sale. The unit also needed some extra cleaning, painting, and carpet cleaning -- Jim not only had the contacts to do such work for very reasonable rates, but he also actually coordinated their arrival in the unit to perform that work -- my wife and I didn't have to do a thing! We were also having some trouble getting my sister's bank to release some funds that were needed for probate -- Jim offered to come with me to the branch and everything was sorted out in half an hour! When it was time to list the unit, he created a very professional listing that also included photos of the building's amenities, and not just the unit itself. An open house took place shortly afterwards, and within a couple of days, there were competing offers where Jim showed excellent negotiation skills to get us a great price. Throughout the entire process, Jim always kept us up-to-date with what was happening and without us ever having to request such updates. He was always punctual and pleasant, but also very professional in getting the job done.
